Well-being and air quality in the new Dolce Vita shopping centre in Spain, thanks to the Roof Top New Space

The Dolce Vita shopping centre in La Coruna, Spain (the eighth in the Dolca Vita series) will open its doors at the end of this year. Ancin-Clima chose the brand new CIAT Roof Top to provide air conditioning for its 62,000 m² arcade.
The gigantic shopping centre, which houses almost 170 individual shops, wanted to provide its customers with optimum comfort. CIAT's expertise in the retail sector and its associated products (excellent quality/price ratio) made all the difference.
Beyond the installation of the Roof Top units, the group also provided the customer and the design office with solutions throughout the duration of the project. The CIAT Group was the only one to offer an optimised solution, tailored to the customer's needs, by adapting its know-how and its offer to the project's specific challenges.

The Roof Top New Space

CIAT supplied 11 Roof Top New Space IPF (reversible version) units to the project's prime contractor. These units provide a cooling capacity of 1440 kW. The New Space units have the particularity of using R410a refrigerant, which mean that they can achieve an EER of 3.6 and a COP of 3.5. The models of varying capacity installed at the Dolce Vita shopping centre allow air flow rates of 22,000 m3/h for IPF-240 units to 75,000 m3/h for IPF-840 units (8,000 to 112,500 m3/h for the other New Space models). The New Space units are also equipped with pCOC control (Gesclima Pro) for optimum comfort and reliability. They are equipped with numerous options, including active recovery, fire protection, and adjustable roof curbs. The quality of the air distributed and pleasant indoor conditions are just two characteristics of the New Space series resulting in a high level of comfort for customers.
