Future-ready rooftop with reduced environmental impact

The VECTIOS R‑454C supports the rooftop transition to lower-GWP refrigerants in alignment with F-GAS, helping reduce direct and indirect environmental impact, while keeping refrigerants an A2L low-flammability classification.

High seasonal efficiency for lower operating costs

Designed to deliver outstanding SEER and SCOP performance (+3% vs VECTIOS R-454B), the range exceeds Ecodesign requirements under Regulation EU 2016/2281 (up to 49% in SEER / 15% in SCOP) and helps reduce energy consumption.

Compact design, reducing on-site footprint and facilitating renovation projects

The new R‑454C range keeps the compact footprint of previous VECTIOS R-410A and R-454B units, helping simplify replacement projects where roof space is limited.

Advanced variable-speed technology

Hermetic scroll compressors with variable-speed operation improve stage management and part-load efficiency, while the suction line heat exchanger optimises refrigerant conditions and contributes to improved system performance

Efficient airflow management

Supply EC plug fans provide precise airflow control , soft-start functionality , and can be configured for constant or variable airflow. The calibrated fan intake section and differential pressure sensor support airflow measurement and precise control with dirty-filter compensation.

Smart outdoor fan operation

EC axial fans adapt their speed according to outdoor ambient conditions and operating mode, helping reduce fan energy consumption while maintaining reliable operation.

Reliable operation across seasons

The unit is designed for a wide outdoor operating range, with cooling operation up to +50 °C and heating operation down to-18 °C wet bulb at partial load (-15ºC at full load), making it suitable for demanding climate conditions.

One packaged system for many applications

VECTIOS R‑454C offers a flexible packaged solution able to address multiple project needs: free-cooling, energy recovery, fresh air management, CO₂-based ventilation, filtration, overpressure control, auxiliary heating (electrical, hot water or burner), humidity control, multi-zone control, low-temperature applications, lead/lag operation, energy meters, smoke detection, anti-corrosion options, communication , supervision and much more.

Designed to support indoor air quality

The range contributes to healthier indoor environments through fresh air management, filtration options, CO₂ sensors, airflow control and humidity management.

Plug & play installation and easier commissioning

The unit integrates all key components in one factory-assembled packaged system. It is fully programmed and set up from the factory with intelligent VECTIC control, helping reduce installation complexity and simplify commissioning.

Factory-programmed intelligent control

Units are fully programmed and set up from the factory with the intelligent VECTIC control, supporting fast commissioning, reliable and efficient operation.

Open communication with BMS systems

Standard communication ports — RS485 and Ethernet — allow connection to centralised BMS systems using Modbus and BACnet protocols.
Built-in web monitoring and data logging
A standard web tool enables users to monitor unit status and access data logging functions, supporting easier operation and maintenance follow-up.

Scalable supervision and cloud connectivity

The range could be complemented with local supervision solutions such as BOSS mini for up to 50 units and BOSS for up to 300 units. And can be also connected to Carrier Abound HVAC Performance, linking HVAC equipment to Carrier’s cloud platform for real-time visibility, alerts and performance insights to help improve uptime, optimise operation and support predictive maintenance.
