The new CLIMACIAT® Floway: Flexible, high efficiency dual-flow air handling unit
CIAT's new generation CLIMACIAT Floway range of dual-flow air handling units offers higher capacities, enhanced energy efficiency, outstanding indoor air quality, plus a vast range of options to suit almost every application. CLIMACIAT Floway, which combines advanced heat recovery, high-efficiency EC fans, low thermal losses with T2/TB2 classification and low pressure drops, can now deliver up to 25000 m3/h of conditioned air into a building from a single, compact plug-and-play unit.
Equipped with high-efficiency components, CLIMACIAT Floway meets the latest standards for efficiency and environmental performance, delivering fresh air into a building while using, on average, 80% less energy than needed for conventional air conditioning systems (cooling and heating).
The rotary heat exchanger (RX version) or counter plate exchangers (PX version) capture heat from exhaust air that would otherwise be lost, and transfer it to incoming air, supporting energy savings and enhancing occupant comfort.
Indoor air quality is maintained through up to three stages of filtration and a minimum Exhaust Air Transfer Ratio (EATR), ensuring fresh air remains uncontaminated by expelled stale air.
For the contractor, CLIMACIAT Floway is designed to be quick and easy to install and commission. The unit is pre-wired and factory-programmed ready for use, with a built-in control system and native IP communication.
The standard webserver provides intuitive diagrams of the unit's operations, making it simple and convenient for service staff and users to manage.
CLIMACIAT Floway offers flexible configurations to suit a wide range of applications. This covers the mixing box, up to three heating/cooling coils – including direct expansion coil, electrical heaters and pre-heaters with variable control, bag filters, and humidity control.
It is suitable for use in offices, shops, schools, hotels, restaurants, apartment blocks, and public buildings such as libraries and community centres.
