CIAT Products Achieve Rigorous PEP Ecopassport® Declaration
CIAT product ranges have been awarded the prestigious PEP (Product Environment Profile) Ecopassport® declaration. This achievement underscores CIAT's dedication to minimising the environmental impact of its products throughout their entire lifecycle. The PEP Ecopassport® program is a globally recognised environmental declaration initiative designed for electrical, electronic, and HVAC equipment, recognised and certified under ISO 14025, 14040 and 14044 standards. It is a voluntary program developed by the P.E.P. Association; a non-profit organisation dedicated to developing the Environmental Declaration Program PEP Ecopassport® internationally. The program provides a standardised framework for assessing and communicating the environmental performance of products, enabling customers to make informed decisions based on transparent and reliable data.
The CIAT FLOWAY®, VECTIOS™, CLIMACIAT® AIRACCESS and AIRTECH, AQUACIATPOWER™ ILD R-32, COADIS LINE 600/900™, MELODY 2™, MAJOR LINE™ and COMFORT LINE™ ranges underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including a comprehensive life cycle assessment (LCA), to meet the stringent requirements of the PEP Ecopassport® program. The LCA evaluated various environmental aspects, such as resource consumption, energy efficiency, and waste generation, from the extraction of raw materials to the end-of-life disposal of the products.
